8-bit battery powered

This is Comanechi in action last night at the Plan B night at the Spitz. They were playing with Charlottefield and Comasport. It was a pretty fun evening, which i almost never went to - I've been going out so constantly lately and would like to slow down somewhat, but i guess thats not what you move to London for!

Comasport opened with droney electronic noise, which started out just ok, but actually built up into hella good racket!

Charlottefield was the reason i went along, but i think i had hyped myself up too much and was super excited to see them. They were pretty good, but a bit sludgey and emo-like for my taste.

Comanechi, i saw a few months back at a Silver Rocket evening. They were good when i saw them, but not so much, that i would have made a point to go see them again, however... Last night they just rocked so hard. There was trouble with tuning the bass at the beginning of their set, so they didnt even bother with that, and just went at it with drums and guitar. I'd definitley recommend checking them out.

Tonite is Adaadat's (fairly) new monthly night, called Trash Trash Noise Next Door, and this month features Duracell, the french one-man Lightning Bolt cover band, armed with two Nord Micromodulars and a drum-kit! The guy is insanely good live, hopefully i can get some good pictures tonite, but its not guaranteed - last time i saw him you couldnt see shit cos the crowd around him was so thick.

aii-ght!
